Thailand Entry Requirements

Currently there are additional entry requirements in place to enter Thailand. Please refer to the following steps to qualify to enter Thailand.

 

Step 1 : Insurance (not required if Thai)

The insurance must cover travel, as well as COVID-19.

 

Step 2 : Visa, or Exempt Entry

Please refer to country list below to see if your passport country is currently allowed 45 day exempt entry. If it is not on the list you must apply for a visa at your local Thai Consulate.

Step 3 : COE

You can obtain your COE here. (https://coethailand.mfa.go.th)

Currently COE is not being issued for travelers coming from India, Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Maldives.

 

Step 4 : Flight

Before finalizing your AQ hotel you must have a flight secured.

 

Step 5 : AQ / SANDBOX / SAMUI PLUS

You can request an AQ / SANDBOX booking by using ASQ.in.th. If you are wishing to take advantage of the Phuket Sandbox, please refer to the (Sandbox Entry Requirements). If you are wishing to enter via Samui Plus please refer to the Samui Plus Entry Requirements.

Many hotels ask for local bank transfer. The most secure, and inexpensive way to do this is to use WISE (https://wise.com) as they support credit card, and international bank transfers.

April 29th : Travelers arriving after May 6th are no longer eligible for 7, and 10 day quarantine packages, and only quality for 15 day packages.

 

Step 6 : RT-PCR Test (not required if Thai)

Medical Certificate with a laboratory result indicating that COVID-19 is not detected, using RT-PCR method, issued no longer than 72 hours before departure

 

Step 7 : COE Status

Check your COE status again (additional documents may be requested).

 

Step 8 : Come to Thailand

1.  Prepare T.8 document (CLICK)

2.  Prepare Declaration form (CLICK)

3.  Passport or C.I.

4.  Flight tickets

5.  COVID-19 Travel Insurance (not required if Thai) (CLICK)

6.  AQ / SANDBOX hotel booking voucher confirmation

7.  Certificate of Travel (COE)

8.  Medical Certificate with a laboratory result indicating that COVID-19 is not detected, using RT-PCR method, issued no longer than 72 hours before departure (not required if Thai)

9.  Install the ThailandPlus application on your mobile device.

 

Step 9 : Start your quarantine

Complete your quarantine, and then enjoy Thailand
